Structured panel interview

What the interview looks like

  • A department panel of two or three FACEMs and a nurse manager, about thirty minutes, or an MMI where the department runs stations

  • Resus scenarios: shock, trauma, the septic child, the agitated patient, and department flow decisions

  • Criterion mapped questions on motivation, teamwork, errors, cultural safety and wellbeing

  • Answers are judged against the selection criteria and the ACEM domains
