Prepare to perform in your UK IMG clinical fellow interview

Two ways to rehearse: spoken practice on the real UK IMG clinical fellow interview questions, marked as you answer, and an AI interviewer that runs the full panel on video.

Two ways to practise

Rehearse every day. Then sit the full panel.

Spoken practice

Your daily rehearsal

  • Voice to voice on the real UK IMG clinical fellow interview questions, one topic at a time
  • The panel listens, probes the way the real one does, then moves on
  • Every answer marked as you finish: a score, what worked and what would lift it
  • 5-minute sessions that fit around clinical work

120 to 300 minutes a month, depending on plan

AI interviewer

Your dress rehearsal

  • A video avatar panel runs the whole interview, face to face
  • Fifteen minutes, timed like the real thing, across the topics panels cover
  • Each question asked by the panel member who would ask it on the day
  • A full debrief afterwards: an overall mark, every answer, and what to practise next

1, 2 or 4 full mock interviews a month, depending on plan · try it free for one minute

Your first NHS post sets the direction of everything after it.

The exams, the training application, the portfolio pathway. Thirty minutes online decide it. Preparation is the only variable you control.

The clinical knowledge is there and the panel never hears it in order: the deteriorating patient answered from the diagnosis instead of from the bedside, the escalation mentioned last, the NHS questions answered with hope rather than facts.

The content is fine. The structure is poor, so the answer is poor.

STRUCTURE

BUILT AROUND HOW CANDIDATES ARE ACTUALLY ASSESSED

Every question the panel asks has a structure it is marking against, and that structure is the thing most candidates have never been told.

Each topic has its own framework, its own mark, and its own line on your readiness score — so you can see exactly which of the 8 you still need to work on.

Structured panel interview

What the interview looks like

  • A trust panel of two to four: the clinical lead, a consultant colleague and sometimes HR, usually online

  • Twenty to forty minutes and four to eight questions, including one clinical scenario in two parts

  • Expect tell us about yourself, why the NHS, why this trust, what makes a good NHS clinician, a mistake, conflict, an aggressive patient and clinical governance

  • Answers are judged on structure, safety and how you would fit into an NHS team

SESSION FEEDBACK

FEEDBACK THAT TELLS YOU EXACTLY WHAT TO DO NEXT

When a topic ends, you don't get a vague score. You get a structured debrief aligned to the panel's own marking scheme for UK IMG clinical fellow interviews — with frameworks and model answer guidance built in, and a countdown to your interview date sitting above it.

Marked while you answer

A score out of 10, what worked and what would have lifted it — on screen as you finish each answer, not in an email a week later.

Question by question, kept

Every answer in the debrief carries its own mark and its own 'what would have made this stronger', saved to your account so you can come back to it.

One readiness score

Your latest mark on every topic, averaged into a single number with a trend line — and a 'practise next' that points at the topic holding it down.

SMARTER NEXT STEPS

FROM FEEDBACK TO FOCUSED PRACTICE

Your weakest answers drive the recommendations. We suggest the right framework for each category, link you to the prep guide, and send you straight to targeted questions in the question bank.

THE OUTCOME

ENTER YOUR INTERVIEW PREPARED TO COMPETE

By the time you sit your real interview, you will have:

  • Answered real UK IMG clinical fellow interview questions out loud, under time, and been marked on every one
  • Used the right framework for each topic, and seen where it slipped
  • Watched a readiness score move as your weakest topics came up
  • Run the full panel — the order, the probes, the pressure — before it counted

You won't be wondering how you'll perform.
You will know.

Who writes this

We sit on trust panels and we see the same thing from doctors joining the NHS every month: the clinical knowledge is there and the answer comes out in the wrong order. The questions here come from recruiters who host thousands of these interviews, ranked by how often they report them, and the marking follows what the clinical lead is listening for.
