Each station is scored out of five, and your UCAT situational judgement result is converted to a score out of five as well, giving a total out of 45. Sheffield prioritises applicants who score three or better in every station and in the SJT — so consistency across the circuit matters more than a strong performance in one or two. Interviewers are drawn from medical educators, hospital doctors, GPs, nurses, pharmacists, biomedical scientists, medical students and lay people. Home applicants attend in person; International applicants are interviewed online by panel.
Practise this format before your interview
MMI stations are short and scored independently, so a weak station need not sink the circuit. Work through questions by category, or run a timed mock.
